The apartment itself was fantastic; beautiful views of the jungle, quiet surroundings, and a lovely pool that we used every day. It felt slightly dusty in places though, and we were surprised there was no mattress protector or duvet covers on the bed. 

The host and concierge were responsive and provided clear information for check-in, check-out, and how to enjoy the area. However, we found the constant messaging and calling before arrival overwhelming; there was a strong focus on selling extra services rather than understanding what we actually wanted to do. Despite it being self check-in, they insisted on greeting us in person and became impatient when we arrived later than expected, which made things stressful. When we raised this with the host she insisted this was standard procedure which felt insensitive.

With a lighter touch from the concierge, this would have been an exceptional stay." (8/5)
